What is a safety standard:
Safety standards come in several flavors - food safety, robot site safety, and information safety.
Food Safety
The development and implementation of a food safety system is based on the following international standards:
ISO 22000 - Food Safety Management Systems. Food Safety Management Systems - Requirements for any organization in the food chain;
FSSC 22000 - Food Safety Management Systems Certification Scheme;
HACCP - Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point and Implementation Guide;
IFS Food - Standard for auditing the quality and safety of food products;
BRCGS Food - Global Food Safety Standard;
GLOBAL G.A.P. (Good Agricultural Practices);
BDS EN ISO 10013 - Guidelines for the development of quality manuals;
Workplace Safety
The collection consists of the following standards and standardization documents:
BS EN ISO 45001:2023 Occupational health and safety management systems. Requirements with guidance for implementation (ISO 45001:2018) - the core standard containing the requirements for developing an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) to enable an organisation to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, and improve OHS performance.

Part 10: Competence requirements for the audit and certification of occupational health and safety management systems - the document is applicable to the audit and certification of WHS management systems based on ISO 45001; it also specifies additional competence requirements for personnel involved in the process of audit and certification of WHS management systems and complements the existing requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1.
ISO/TS 24179:2020 Human Resource Management. Occupational health and safety indicators (ISO/TS 24179:2020) - describes the elements of organisational health, safety and well-being and provides a rule of thumb for comparable measures for internal and external reporting; also highlights issues to be considered when interpreting compliance data, especially when deciding on appropriate interventions and when reporting to external stakeholders (e.g. regulators, investors).
Information Safety
An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is an approach to managing an organization's sensitive information in a way that ensures its security is maintained. This information can be company know-how, personal data, or customer proprietary.
The international standard ISO 27001 sets requirements for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
ISO 27001 is applicable to all types of organisations: commercial, non-commercial, governmental and non-governmental.
The benefits of implementing an Information
Security Management System:
Defining security requirements and objectives;
Ensuring that organisations comply with legislation and other regulatory requirements;
ensuring that information risk is managed effectively, in terms of resources;
defining new information security management processes;
evaluating existing information security management processes;
establishing compliance by internal and external auditors in organisations with policies, regulations and applicable standards;
providing clients with relevant information security information.
In order to preserve its information, an organization should take the following steps:
Define an information security policy;
identify and assess security risks;
determine and implement appropriate information security controls.
ISO 27001 requires strict compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and contractual obligations related to information security, optimised use of available resources, and periodic internal reviews of the system for continuous improvement.
Other standards related to information security:
ISO 22301 Public Security. Business Continuity Management Systems. Requirements;
ISO 27018 Information technology - Security methods. Code of good practice for the protection of personal data in public clouds acting as data controllers;
ISO 27701 Security methods - Supplement to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002 for privacy management. Requirements and guidelines;
SOC 2
NIST SP 800-53
TISAX
An implemented and functioning Information Security Management System (ISMS) will ensure the continuity of your business in the event of emergencies and crises.
What is environmental standart
Environmental governance, environmental impact assessment and climate change are hot topics worldwide. The relationship of people and the economy to the living environment in which they develop is increasingly being studied and discussed because society has realised that, in order to exist, the economy, and business in particular, must develop in harmony with the environment. Customers and consumers, in their choice of suppliers of products and services, prefer companies and organisations that incorporate best practices in line with environmental requirements.
Standards developed in the field of the environment have a direct bearing on ensuring the safety of society as a whole. These standards provide guidelines for better control of air, water, and soil quality, waste characterization, and waste reduction and subsequent recycling.
The "Environmental Standards" collection includes, in addition to fundamental standards for environmental management systems, those related to policies and measures to reduce environmental impacts and climate change.
In addition to the foundational standards for environmental management systems, the Environmental Standards Collection includes those related to policies and measures to reduce environmental impacts and climate change.
The collection was updated in September 2023 with the addition of BDS EN ISO 14067:2018 in Bulgarian.
The collection includes:
- BDS EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems. Requirements with guidance for implementation (ISO 14001:2015) - specifies the requirements of an environmental management system that an organisation can use to improve its environmental performance;
- BS EN ISO 14004:2016 Environmental management systems. General guidance for implementation (ISO 14004:2016) - provides guidance to an organisation on establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving a robust, reliable and secure environmental management system;
- BS EN ISO 14046:2016 Environmental management. Water Footprint. Principles, requirements and guidelines (ISO 14046:2014) - specifies the principles, requirements and guidelines related to assessing the water footprint of products, processes and organizations based on life cycle assessment (LCA);
- BS EN ISO 14050:2020 Environmental management.
Glossary (ISO 14050:2020) - contains the key terms and their definitions used in documents in the field of environmental management systems and tools in support of sustainable development;
- BS EN ISO 14008:2020 Monetary assessment of environmental impacts and related environmental aspects (ISO 14008:2019) - defines the methodological framework for the monetary assessment of environmental impacts and related environmental aspects;

Requirements and guidelines for quantification (ISO 14067:2018) - specifies principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the carbon footprint of a product (CFP), in a manner compatible with international life cycle assessment (LCA) standards (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044);
- BS EN ISO 14091:2021 Adaptation to climate change. Guidance on vulnerability, impact and risk assessment (ISO 14091:2021) - provides guidance on assessing risks associated with potential climate change impacts. Can be used to assess both current and future climate change risks.
What is quality standart
Quality at first glance is just a set of characteristics, but it has become so deeply embedded in economics as a criterion determining products that today's markets would be filled with enormous ambiguity. They could not function and develop without the constraints of this category.
The absence of a declaration of capability and sufficiency casts doubt on the applicability of a product, service or information and raises a number of questions about it. For your users and partners, the certificate symbolizes the practical value of a product/service.
Consumer scepticism about the relevance of goods and their ability to meet needs over an extended period is only dispelled by this qualification. Customer requirements changed during the 20th century and provoked the creation of a set of requirements and guidelines that normalized necessary market levels of value. Documentary quality standards first emerged in 1987, developed by a committee of an international standards organization.
Quality and several standards describing it
The category has a much more substantial and all-encompassing role than is apparent. Every item that we use in everyday life has undergone such an assessment for status. It is only because of it that users enjoy unhindered and continued use. Thus, these criteria also make a real positive contribution to consumer safety
ISO 9001 is the group of quality standards that integrate to any type of business structures. However, they are almost always tied to several other sets of rules. Guidelines for continuous performance improvement, for achieving financial and economic results as a consequence of these standards, complaint handling and employee involvement and qualification are often the mandatory additional standard for any company.
ISO 31000:2009 presents proven principles for the implementation of risk identification and exploitation methods in any business organization. More recently, it has also been placed in direct relation to quality standards. The amendment of ISO 9000:2015 is seriously focused on the implementation of risk - taking advantage of positive and stimulating, but also negative risk factors, converting them into positive ones.
Information technology is now an essential factor in the business processes of modern companies. E-shops are increasingly popular and since 2014 there is a systematically recognizable standard of requirements for an organization's transactions with e-commerce partners. Information security control systems have also been heavily advocated and developed in the period since 2010. They should be mentioned, although they are not directly tied to quality management.ISO 31000:2009 presents proven principles for implementing methods for recognizing and using risk, in any business organization. A number of guidelines and requirements are being developed as they relate to methods of protecting electronic data. Examples are the code of good practice for information control, guidelines for the implementation of QMS, for conducting audits, and even rules for auditors conducting control checks.An essential factor in the business processes of modern companies is now information technology. What you won't get from the standards
Quality management standards will elevate your business to a higher level, as the certificate declares products with competitive features to the best value items on the market. However, standardisation is only a series of guidelines, recommendations and rules. It does not ensure one hundred percent quality. A professional audit can only certify the highest control according to the current modifications of market requirements.
Yet, implementing these standards become the choice of any modern business organisation with ambitions. Regardless of its business, every company now goes through these procedures, and renews them every three years. The practice produces results, as it has proven to expand the market horizons of the entities observed.
